He-man and Battle Cat leaving Castle Grey Skull.

I used a million different things for this heheh.

For Battle Cat I got the body outline from a picture of the black leopard. and completely draw the armour myself. which is tricky without a tablet!!.

For He-man I just used loads of different references from pictures to even movies to draw him heheh.

For the Castle I got a picture of a human skull and a castle tower and made my on Grey Skull with them. By adding textures and so on.

And for the background I just went texture mad, added some difference clouds made some lightning myself. and used the burn tool where needed.

That's great Ad. Really really good. You did a great job with the colouring. I love the thick outlines. They give it a comic book feel.

I actually used a picture of tree bark for the ground, used it with 2 layers with different angles. worked pretty well heheh.

Ooooh... Heman! Great use of textures and reference materials! And for someone who uses a mouse, those are really REALLY clean lines! :)

damn... i miss my old toys and cartoons. sniff! ;(

Thanks for the kind words mate. My lines are clean because I must confess with having to use a mouse I regularly have to use the line tool for out-lines but obviously all the shading and colouring is with a mouse. Me and Vasso will have to get a tablet soon!

And was funny today my mum was talking about the pic and remembered when she bought me castle grey skull heheh.

That's great to hear! Im sure Vasso's gonna be ecstatic when she knows she's getting one... she already knows i guess. LOL. Cant wait what you guys can pull of with a tablet!

As for Greyskull, didnt get to have Greyskull but i did have sorceress and her eagle form as well. sadly, a housekeeper we employed before stole those and every other toy i had as a kid. :(
